MGM unveils a new video for No time to die with behind-the-scenes footage of Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch’s stunt training for the film. The latest edition in James Bond Franchise becomes five years after the events of spook in which 007 Ernst Stavro Blofeld was captured and taken active duty for a quiet life with Dr. Madeliene Swann has left. However, when CIA field officer and friend Felix Leiter asks for his help in finding a missing scientist, Bond finds himself on the trail of a villain planning events that could lead to the deaths of millions and a dark secret from Swanns Past.
Daniel Craig returns to leadership No time to die in his last appearance as Bond next to Christoph Waltz as Blofeld, Léa Seydoux as Swann, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Quartermaster “Q”, Jeffrey Wright as director, Ralph Fiennes as M and Rory Kinnear as Tanner. It also introduces de Armas as the Cuban CIA agent Paloma, Lynch as the new 007 Nomi and Rami Malek as the villainous Lyutsifer Safin. After several delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, No time to die should finally hit theaters in October and MGM and United Artists Releasing offer new insights into the movie’s character roster.

Lynch’s role as Nomi was one of the most talked about characters among fans, especially when the audience debated whether she would be nicknamed 007. While de Armas’ character didn’t get the same spotlight or discussion in marketing the film, the new one is No time to die video offers an exciting glimpse into what audiences can expect from both of the movie’s characters, namely its action set pieces. Craig’s tenure as Bond has resulted in a series of action sequences that attempted to capture the film’s gritty and practical nature Bourne Franchise compared to previous films and it has been praised for those efforts which makes it all the more exciting to see the women of the new film doing stunt work for it.
Though they may not be the first, as Naomie Harris’ moneypenny was a force to be reckoned with Skyfall, Lynch and de Armas’ characters in No time to die seem to be powerful new allies for Bond in the film. While the future of the franchise is in the air right now, the movie could work to establish Lynch’s Nomi not only as an intriguing new presence that continues the 007 coat, but is also capable of the same exciting set pieces as Craig’s Bond to deliver. Only time will tell when No time to die hits theaters on October 8th.
